AWAY in the County

This unique Prince Edward County retreat has been created and renovated by its owners; artist Susan Wallis and designer Glen Wallis to accommodate guests who want to get “away” from it all.   With a décor of elegant simplicity, the spacious guest rooms have well-appointed private ensuites and stunning views of East Lake and the Away gardens.   Guests are encouraged to linger on the expansive marble terrace or wander through the gardens to the deck by the lake.

Away is a mere 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Sandbanks Provincial Park, 12 minutes to the shopping village of Bloomfield and less than 10 minutes to restaurants, shops and the heritage Regent Theatre in the town of Picton.

Away is not suitable for children, we are set up to provide an adult get-away for all our guests. Away is pet-free.
